The government today (Dec. 30) decided to reduce the prices of fuel as follows: petrol by Rs. 2, petrol for three-wheelers by Rs. 20, diesel by Rs. 10, furnace oil by Rs. 10, Laugf gas by Rs. 276 per 13kg cylinder, Shell gas by Rs. 176 effective midnight today.
Three-wheelers are to get a maximum of four litres of petrol per day at a reduced price of Rs. 102. Other vehicles will have to pay Rs. 120 per litre according to the price reduction by the government effective midnight today (Dec. 30).
